Process

The process we set up for all of our projects is organised in several steps :

1. We start with a consultation and we identify your needs and constraints through an initial analysis of your whole project ;
2. We identify solutions and advise you of every choice in terms of technology ;
3. We set up project specifications for the short, middle, and/or long term ;
4. We complete your project, ensuring it follows initial specifications ;
5. We establish quality assurance on the work we’ve produced with multiple tests ;
6. We ensure that each step of the project specifications has been completed and we apply any modifications ;
7. Finally, we deliver your project along with the necessary support (technical support, user manual, etc).

Philosophy

We always favor opensource software when developing our services. Whether it is a programming language, a software, an operating system, or a database system, we make this choice as we believe it gives several benefits on other commercial solutions :

• Security : An opensource software has its source code open to all, which means that security holes can be better detected.
• Updates : A number of developers can contribute to a single opensource project, resulting in more frequent updates, and making it possible to release new features faster.
• Total cost of ownership : An opensource solution has a better TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) than any commercial solution, and this reduces operating expenses (e.g., licensing fees).
• Integration and modification : An opensource software can be freely modified, as its license allows source code modifications, and this eases its integration into other solutions.

Of course, we never exclude the option of using commercial solutions, however, we first ensure that no opensource equivalent can fit our needs.
